Well done, ADNEC, for securing the event and Abu Dhabi is turning into a cultural capital in the region with world class museums, art galleries and events.
Embracing events like the film and comic con is an indication of a mature city that recognizes pop culture as an influence on society.
I wonder if Dubai was considered or even approached, given that we have exhibition facilities here as well as access a massive chunk of the population from the northern emirates as well.
