Original C&C Now Playable in Your Browser

Self confessed tech geek, Aditya Ravi Shankar has ported the original Command and Conquer real time strategy game into HTML5 so it can now be played in your browser.

As Aditya says in his blog post about the process, Command & Conquer is “the grand-daddy of all Real Time Strategy games and is probably the game that made the genre popular”

The game currently works best in Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, and Aditya says he’s got a lot more work to do to get it close to perfect.
